01:51:09 [AaronSw]
hi sbp
01:51:23 [sbp]
Hi there; yeah, I've seen that SWAG before
01:52:06 [sbp]
Oh, the judge he guilty-found her
01:52:56 [sbp]
But I've been homeward bound-a
01:53:11 [sbp]
That no good dirty robbin' Maggie Mae
01:53:17 [sbp]
Sorry, just had to sing that
01:53:27 [sbp]
My keyboard squeaks
01:54:33 [AaronSw]
eek
01:55:18 [sbp]
yeah, exactly like that!
01:55:28 [sbp]
What browser are you currently running?
01:55:42 [sbp]
Have you got Mozilla/Netscape6 installed?
01:55:46 [AaronSw]
yep
01:56:02 [AaronSw]
running IE5.1/MOSX
01:56:16 [AaronSw]
why do you ask?
01:57:44 [sbp]
I just wondered...
01:59:39 [AaronSw]
Did you see DanC's offer to make a CSS for RDFS?
01:59:53 [sbp]
Yeah, a while ago
02:02:10 [AaronSw]
hmm, does sendmail run POP? i can't remember...
02:03:10 [AaronSw]
no, it's inetd
02:22:54 [sbp]
Whatever happened to xml:style?
02:23:11 [sbp]
<?xml-stylesheet ...?> is a pain in the butt
02:23:22 [sbp]
nasty little hack...
02:24:06 [AaronSw]
yep, yep
02:24:22 [sbp]
Heh heh:-

indeed -- i chumped it
02:24:45 [AaronSw]
you've made the front page! :)
02:24:45 [sbp]
Neat :-)
02:25:14 [sbp]
Oh yeah, so we did
02:25:45 [sbp]
People have been saying it should be a recommendation... eek
02:26:18 [AaronSw]
Yes, it sure should!
02:27:13 [sbp]
Of course it should, but we're too lazy to do so. Plus, we're not really chartered to produce recommendations (although it's not considered a charter violation, because it is a good goal for our work)
02:28:48 [sbp]
Have you noticed, BTW, that cuffs and collar don't appear to match on the WD, if you catch my drift?
02:29:33 [sbp]
i.e., look at the CVS Id
02:29:52 [sbp]
Crap, I just noticed a typo
02:29:58 [sbp]

02:31:02 [sbp]
Aaargh, damnit: they used Transitional instead of the new DTD
02:35:59 [sbp]
Cool, a link to http://swag.webns.net/n3tordf from http://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/Notation3

02:36:27 [AaronSw]
err nice
02:36:54 [sbp]
:-)
02:50:35 [sbp]
Heh, take a look at the list of Semantic Web researchers on http://img.cs.man.ac.uk/jpan/Zhilin/semWeb.htm
02:51:22 [AaronSw]
heh!
02:52:08 [AaronSw]
why not me, i wonder
02:52:19 [sbp]
You're not important enough
02:52:52 [sbp]
Well, it doesn't seem that many of the RDF Core people are on there
02:53:00 [sbp]
I accuse you all of being recluses
02:53:17 [sbp]
(which is rich, coming from me)
02:53:55 [sbp]
I think that Jeff comes at the Semantic Web from the KR/ontology side of things
02:54:12 [AaronSw]
i'd suspect so
02:54:22 [sbp]
especially judging my the list, which are DAML/academic people
02:54:35 [sbp]
and me? well, I commented on his cool RDFS(FA) thing
02:55:23 [AaronSw]
aha
02:55:37 [AaronSw]
what did that do, again?
02:56:15 [sbp]
It basically rejigged RDFS a little bit, to bring it more in line with UML and so on
02:57:12 [sbp]
It separated out RDFS into a few layers, Meta layers, ontology layer, instance layer... confusing at first, but would make more sense for people coming at RDF from UML
02:57:33 [AaronSw]
ahh, were they the ones that said rdfs:Class shouldn't be a rdfs:Class?
02:59:03 [sbp]
Hmm...
02:59:03 [sbp]
2001-08-14: Murray Burke has been named to succeed Jim Hendler as DAML Program Manager.
02:59:14 [sbp]
yeah, I think so
02:59:21 [AaronSw]
Yes, Jim was talking about that.
02:59:26 [sbp]
but there wouldn't really be an rdfs:Class
02:59:31 [sbp]
when?
02:59:52 [AaronSw]
the other day, i think
03:00:05 [AaronSw]
ooh, it's the first of the month!
03:00:25 [sbp]
ooh?
03:01:23 [AaronSw]
that's why i keep getting all these annoying mailman emails
03:02:48 [sbp]
heh, nerdle
03:04:39 [sbp]
Well, I'm bored and I'm going home. Oh, I am home. That was quick
03:04:50 [sbp]
c'ya!
03:05:12 [AaronSw]
heh, bye
03:05:17 [AaronSw]
i better go too
