- Hello All
- 00:17:59 [bartt]
- Does anyone know how to check for the number of udated rows after a db_dml on PG?
- 00:39:41 [markd2]
- in oracle-land there's a driver-specific call 'ns_ora resultrows'. that may have been emulated in the pg driver
- 00:39:45 [markd2]
- maybe ns_pg resultrows
- 00:55:30 [bartt]
- There is a function ns_pg ntuples that does just that but you need to have a db handle which db_dml doesn't have or returns.
- 00:59:06 [markd2]
- dang
- 00:59:27 [markd2]
- unless db_dml can give you the info, you might have to resort to getting a handle and ns_db dml'ing it
- 01:01:39 [bartt]
- But in my case there are no db handles left as I'm in a transaction that already has a handle which I don't know how to access.
- 01:02:19 [markd2]
- oy
- 01:02:32 [markd2]
- maybe hack db_dml to do something useful for you?
- 01:03:37 [bartt]
- Its not that important for now I'll do without. Thanks for you thoughts though.

- rbm: thanks. Do you know what Talli and Musea are doing for the openacs.org conversion? Will they just write their own migrations scripts?
- 20:55:23 [andrew]
- I guess I should be asking Talli, no you. Sorry.
- 20:55:59 [andrew]
