22:26:18 <davb> docwolf. For apache, i think you need to set something in the httpd.conf file to make it look in there.
22:31:16 <davb> look for AllowOverride Allow and Limit directives. They seem to have something to do with it. I haven't actually ever used .htaccess though.

22:32:18 <davb> Those settings tell whether or not the server should look at htaccess and what to do with it I think.
